API Update – Hunt Feature
We have updated the ‘Hunt’ feature in our Image API, providing greater control over how the system searches for vehicle images by year. Users can now specify whether to search backward or forward in time from the specified year. If no exact match is found, the system will locate the image closest to the entered year, this will provide a higher success rate in sourcing images.
Hunt Settings:

- HUNT = 0: Default setting; no hunting.

- HUNT = 1: Search backward from the specified year.

- HUNT = 2: Search forward from the specified year.
Example: – make=ford&model=fiesta&year=2022&hunt=1
API Update – Fuel Type
We have also made priority changes to which image is being returned based on fuel type. By default, the system will prioritise a non-electric vehicle image. If you would like an Electric vehicle image returned, you can add “Fuel=Electric” into your request
